Since today is Mothers’ Day, I’m sharing a quick photo from my mom’s garden.

Yes, that’s a zinnia flower. Already. In Virginia.
You see, my mom started these seeds back in January or so. Nevermind what the seed packet recommends. That’s when she wanted to plant zinnias, so that’s when she planted them.
It’s entirely possible that my mother is the person who taught me to break the (gardening) rules…
